Air Peace will make history this October as it launches direct flights from Abuja to London, servicing both Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
The Abuja–Heathrow route takes off October 26, 2025, followed by Abuja–Gatwick on October 28, 2025, making Air Peace the first Nigerian airline to offer direct connections from the nation’s capital to both of London’s major airports.
The new routes will be operated with Air Peace’s Boeing 777 aircraft, offering both business and economy class seating for enhanced comfort.
Round-trip fares are expected to start from ₦1 million, with generous baggage allowances. Travelers from other Nigerian cities such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Kano, and Asaba can also connect seamlessly via Abuja on a single ticket, avoiding multiple bookings or baggage re-checks.
This expansion comes after strong government support, with the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, securing approvals and landing rights in the UK through diplomatic engagement. The development strengthens Abuja’s position as a diplomatic and business hub while creating a more competitive travel market that could push down fares and improve services along the Nigeria–UK route.
With these direct flights, Air Peace is not only boosting Nigeria’s global aviation presence but also creating easier, more affordable travel options for Nigerians. The launch is expected to stimulate tourism, trade, and international relations, while keeping more of the travel economy in Nigerian hands
